Plastic Fantasy Warriors Conversions
Posted by MortiS-the-Lost –
As a follow up to my review of EM4's ultra low-price fantasy plastics I thought I'd start a blog-thread of conversions I'm doing using them. The plan is this; I have 5 of each of the different figures , so I will do 4 different conversions of each and leave 1 completely stock (although I may re-base them if I feel like it). I will be using mainly plastic bits from my bits-boxes and probably doing little-to-no work with green-stuff and the like, but I will try and get as much variation out of these figures as I can.
Ok first up here's Dwarf Miner converted from a Dwarf with Axe using a few parts from a bag of spare Citadel Plastic Dwarf Miners parts that Me and Bert picked up at THW's open-day on the bring and buy tables.
^ The lack of sharp detailing on the newer Citadel plastic parts means they fit in pretty well with older miniatures by other companies like this one. On this model I've replaced the axe head with a pick-axe and carefully cut off the top of the Dwarf's head and given him a miner's helmet with candles, I've also given the model a backpack (which you can't see in this picture) to cover up the injection point on it's back
More to come later, I'm currently working on one of the Orcs
